She’s been taking my classes, Strength Fusion and Yoga, for a while and has always been a hard worker, rockin’ it out.
Then we started training together.
“I hate cardio!” would be her mantra, as is the Mantra of Many.
“That’s okay”, I would say, “We’ll be creative…”
That’s what I’m here for.
So normally she’d only do hard cardio in class or in a session with me. She’s not a fan of running outside.
This week I got the email:
…wanted to let you know that I just did a run/walk – mostly jog – 2.5 miles and it took me 27 min and 56 seconds. Not sure if that’s good or not. But, it was mainly hills. And I’m not a runner/jogger/whatever…. That hill by Princeton Club is a doozy I really didn’t want to go, but I made myself think of my long term goal, and that is what got me going. I’m just proud of myself, and wanted to share with someone I knew would find this exciting as well! Thanks for everything you do!
I love it! Breaking out of The Comfort Zone is no easy feat.
Every step, no matter how small you think it may be, is SUCCESS! Celebrate!
This is the time of year to hit the cardio hard, so congrats, Renee!
