I’m so happy for my client/friend Renee.
She’s been taking my classes, Strength Fusion and Yoga, for a while and has always been a hard worker, rockin’ it out.
Then we started training together.
“I hate cardio!” would be her mantra, as is the Mantra of Many.
“That’s okay”, I would say, “We’ll be creative…”
That’s what I’m here for.
So normally she’d only do hard cardio in class or in a session with me. She’s not a fan of running outside.
This week I got the email:
…wanted to let you know that I just did a run/walk – mostly jog – 2.5 miles and it took me 27 min and 56 seconds. Not sure if that’s good or not. But, it was mainly hills. And I’m not a runner/jogger/whatever…. That hill by Princeton Club is a doozy 🙂 I really didn’t want to go, but I made myself think of my long term goal, and that is what got me going. I’m just proud of myself, and wanted to share with someone I knew would find this exciting as well! Thanks for everything you do!
I love it! Breaking out of The Comfort Zone is no easy feat.
Every step, no matter how small you think it may be, is SUCCESS! Celebrate!
